I bet the doctor wanted to still bill the insurance company for a visit but couldn't bill it as "woman having a miscarriage, about to die of blood poisoning" so called it strep throat so they still get paid.
Hurting women is the whole goal with Republicans' abortion bans. This isn't just a tragedy, this is the intended outcome and what a bit under half the country wants the rest of the country to be like.
