118 0 ReplyHe does. There's also a pic without him on his insta and I've gotta say it does lose a few badassery points

41 1 ReplyTHIS is the Mexico everybody loves!
7 0 ReplyNow I wonder, though, did he buy a Tesla for this? Or did already have a Tesla and thought of a creative way to get rid of it?
What's going through my mind is a scene from Straight Outta Compton:
"They're burning all your CD's!" (referencing a large pile of burning CD's from their new album).
"Yeah, but they still bought them, didn't they?"
9 0 ReplyCould not find the answer to that but I don't think so, given what he has to say about the installation. Also I don't see why he wouldn't get an already wrecked car for dirt cheap to do that.
"In the end this glorified object with all that technology is just that; it is just a product of a capitalist system when in reality what really matters is where we come from, what we are, and what we have been, generation after generation."
Edit : the car in the picture even shows clear signs of wreckage, e.g the hood with giant scratches all over even though it looks like the head wouldn't even have touched it
12 0 ReplyFor context, he did this a year ago.

The Olmecs or Olmec were an early known major Mesoamerican civilization, flourishing in the modern-day Mexican states of Veracruz and Tabasco from roughly 1200 to 400 BCE during Mesoamerica's formative period.
23 0 ReplyAwesome, thank you, I'm not very familiar with ancient American history.

4 0 ReplyThe Louvre should display the fine artwork. Just paint a fucking swastika on the Tesla.
5 0 ReplyIs that giant round stone face supposed to represent an ancient stoic warrior? 🗿 Now it does.

It's an extravagant piece of art. A mad, unthinkable, utterly impossible piece of art! A frabulous, grabulous, zip-zoop-zabulous piece of art!

4 0 ReplyNominative determinism strikes again!
4 0 ReplyHope the underside of the statue didn't got damaged in even the smallest of ways.
4 1 ReplyEUGH!
3 0 ReplyPeople are so dumb, the effect of doing this its only one: You lost a car...
2 22 ReplyClearly this guy with very anti capitalist discourse had to buy a $40k car just to wreck it instead of getting an already totaled one from a junkyard, that is the only explanation that makes sense here.

Oh yeah, he sure showed Elon. 🙄🙄🙄
2 13 ReplyDo you genuinely think that was this, or any, artist's intentions?
5 0 Reply
This is the same energy as conservatives burning Nikes because they’re woke.
Elon already got the money for that car it doesn’t matter what happens to it now.
5 17 ReplyOr he could have just bought a wrecked car that was going to a scrapper anyway.
22 0 ReplyYeah exactly. There's zero chance that artist bought a new Tesla just to wreck it lol
18 0 Reply
That’s an interesting take SatansMaggotyCumFart, but Kid Rock shooting a YETI isn’t the same energy as a real artist making art.
9 1 ReplyThey’re both art even if you don’t agree with one of them.
