B.C. Election: Barring recount upsets, expect an NDP government with tacit Green support
  • Same situation happened in BC in 2017, not much changed.

BC Liberals had a minority, couldn't pass a vote of confidence so they asked for a new election but the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia gave the NDP a chance to form government with Green backing and I believe BC has had a NDP government since then.

’60 Minutes’ Responds to Donald Trump’s Accusation Over “Deceitful Editing” of Kamala Harris Interview: “That Is False”

www.hollywoodreporter.com 60 Minutes Responds to Trump Accusation Over Kamala Harris Interview

CBS' 60 Minutes has responded to Donald Trump's accusation that it edited its Oct.

*60 Minutes *has responded to Donald Trump‘s accusation that the CBS newsmagazine edited its Oct. 7 interview with Vice President Kamala Harris to make the interview more favorable to her — and the Trump campaign issued its own statement in response.

On Sunday, the show released the following statement in response to the Republican presidential candidate:

Former President Donald Trump is accusing 60 Minutes of deceitful editing of our Oct. 7 interview with Vice President Kamala Harris. That is false.

60 Minutes gave an excerpt of our interview to Face the Nation that used a longer section of her answer than that on 60 Minutes. Same question. Same answer. But a different portion of the response. When we edit any interview, whether a politician, an athlete, or movie star, we strive to be clear, accurate and on point. The portion of her answer on 60 Minutes was more succinct, which allows time for other subjects in a wide ranging 21-minute-long segment.

Elon Musk's daily $1 million payouts at Trump rally draw legal scrutiny

Billionaire Elon Musk promised on Saturday to give away $1 million each day until November's election to someone who signs his online petition, with the first prize awarded at a PAC event supporting Republican Donald Trump, raising questions about the legality of the payments.

Musk gave a $1 million check to an attendee of his America PAC event in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, aimed at rallying supporters behind presidential candidate Trump. The winner was a man named John Dreher, according to event staff.

Donald Trump's campaign suggested he would begin previewing his closing argument Saturday night with Election Day barely two weeks away. But the former U.S. president kicked off his rally with a detailed story about Arnold Palmer, at one point even praising the late, legendary golfer's genitalia.

Politicians saluting Palmer in his hometown is nothing new. But Trump spent 12 full minutes doing so at the top of his speech and even suggested how much more fun the night would be if Palmer, who died in 2016, could join him on stage.

“Arnold Palmer was all man, and I say that in all due respect to women," Trump said. "This is a guy that was all man.”

    Then he went even further.

“When he took the showers with other pros, they came out of there. They said, ‘Oh my God. That's unbelievable,'” Trump said with a laugh. “I had to say. We have women that are highly sophisticated here, but they used to look at Arnold as a man.”

Trump says China respects him because Xi Jinping knows he is 'crazy'

Donald Trump has said that if he returns to the White House China would not dare provoke him because President Xi Jinping knows the Republican is "crazy".

Speaking to the Wall Street Journal’s editorial board, Trump said that if elected president next month, he would impose tariffs on China if it sought to blockade Taiwan.

“I would say: if you go into Taiwan, I’m sorry to do this, I’m going to tax you at 150% to 200%,” he said.

On the campaign trail, the Republican candidate has argued that America’s adversaries would not act against US interests under a new Trump presidency because they would fear a forceful, even unpredictable, response.

At a Pennsylvania Rally, Trump Descends to New Levels of Vulgarity

The G.O.P. nominee repeated crude insults, and his supporters relished each moment. But the display could alienate swing voters.

Former President Donald J. Trump on Saturday spewed crude and vulgar remarks at a rally in Pennsylvania that included an off-color remark about a famous golfer’s penis size and a coarse insult about Vice President Kamala Harris.

The performance, 17 days before the election in a critical battleground state, added to the impression of the Republican nominee as increasingly unfiltered and undisciplined. It comes as some of Mr. Trump’s allies and aides worry that Mr. Trump’s temperament and crass style are alienating undecided voters.
