I've only got a single comment about wearing a mask in public. Somebody cattily asking "why are you wearing a mask?" to which I replied "How about you mind your own business?" Did not go any further than that.
Because I have stupid little bitch-ass immune system, I'm ridiculously susceptible to being sick, which I don't enjoy. So I'm either 1 germ away from being sick, or I'm already sick.
One of the nice things about post-pandemic life where I am is the normalization of wearing masks if you're sick, vulnerable, or just feel like it. Someone shows up at work --- or on public transportation --- with a mask and no one bats an eye.
(I'm in the USA in a very blue, VHCOL area, YMMV...)

Unfortunately, I'm in a very red area. My last boss kept exasperatedly telling me that I "don't have to wear a mask while I'm at work"— which gave me more of a reason to wear a mask at work. Turns out, I was right. None of them were vaccinated, and my boss ended up having a heart attack which forced him to permanently close down the shop. Oh well.
I got that a few times, and I ignored them, and then they all continued to make loud insults to themselves.

One thing I've been surprised about with Everett's comics after buying a collection is how many I have sympathy for, or connect with - considering it's over 100 years old (and I'm not particularly a fan of violence as a response to anything).
