And just like Lemmy, you can self-host your own Mastodon as well. No need to choose... I technically run both. But I like lemmy much more than mastodon personally.

I really shouldn't be complaining. It's not like these people add any value to the platform besides being and open account.
They are thoroughly compelled by the government there to remove any anti-government sentiment and ban the accounts. Eh, Cheetos are junk food though... empty calories that make people fat (I actually really dislike normal cheetos... but like crunchy cheetos). There is clearly a negative connotation here...
