Pink Floyd, at ~7,000 minutes. My dad was in the top 0.05% of listeners globally, with a total of ~154,000 minutes. He was in the top 0.005% of Pink Floyd listeners at ~28,000 minutes.
Dude, with my generic af taste you think I'm rolling anything besides windows 7? (Windows 7 on my main work rig, trying to get I.t. to upgrade it, Windows XP on my backup rig. Legacy systems f.t.(killmeplease)w. At home I rock an Asus and a Dell, Windows 10 and 11.
I'm the most generic cis mid 30s child free white guy you could imagine. (งツ)ว
♥️ To you though! (My wife is finally breaking into Linux for some statistical software for her PhD program, she says I'll enjoy sudo. I do have a steam deck that runs Linux I suppose, so there's that!)
How do you guys navigate the UI in such a way you'll actually see anything? On my end the parts have the redundant 20sec intro and then the actual info stays for literally 1 frame before jumping off to the next chapter. Impossible to pause the chapter right at the end.
Alright thanks, gonna have to check it out. On mobile it's like watching a marvel movie, the moment you have information on the screen it's already cut to the next bit lmao
Hahahaha!! I suppose that could be a lot worse.. our boy, for some reason, wanted to go to sleep every night to Shania Twain. Thank god Spotify wasn’t around back then!
What happened to Leprous? I only started doing metal a few years ago and Leprous caughty attention, but the newer stuff kinda shook me. Just wasn't able to make that jump, but if there were context, maybe I could bridge it.
35x the average user! Haha!! That is cool as! Congrats/get some help!!
Hehe.. very cool! So much new music from this post to check out on my commutes. Going to be a roller coaster of up, downs and I’m not sure what’s! Thanks!!
Oh wow, thanks for the reminder about this band. I had Age of the Understatement on CD and somehow just forgot about them when I switched over to streaming many years ago
Right now Ubuntu... but I ran Arch(btw) for 10 years before that, and various before that, for 10 years.
I just happen to enjoy classic rock... but I listen to a lot of different things. Mostly different forms of metal, but quite a lot of electronica and classical music as well
My top genre was stoner metal, I listened to 3298 different artists, and 140 different genres. Like 61k minutes or something :D
Something of hers came up on random and I thought, "This is good." So I listened to a couple more songs and thought, "Hey, these are good too..." And then I saw she had like 7 albums out already and realized, "Holy shit, these are all good!"
Spotify likes to make up genres. This could be one of them. Last year I had something called "voidgaze" which was made up by them to mash up different types of black and atmospheric metal.
