how do you create a community?

First you start by buying a bunch of land, preferably around, or close to, a city.

Second you have to develop the infrastructure (water/sewer, power, etc)

Third you need....oh shit, you mean...yeah I think its been answered, sorry for my confusion
- You also need people on that land, and have to keep them content
- The sad thing is you actually think you're funny, enough to put the effort of writing it anyway. Lucky for you youll never have to worry about losing your sense of humor.

  It's possible user community creation is disabled there. Try messaging an admin.
  
  Could also be the desired name is too long or something. Lemmy isn't great at giving error messages yet.
