Can somebody familiar with the law help me answer a few questions. I didn't think the president had the power to delay a law taking effect. Would the next administration be able to collect fines from Oracle for continuing to host TikTok? Could any US company that competes with TikTok have standing to sue Oracle for violating the law and potentially costing them business?

If Oracle and Microsoft, or basically any other western entity, purchase Tiktok from ByteDance, then this law will no longer apply. The law only applies due to ByteDance being a Chinese-based company
