The guy in the middle is holding a goedendag.
- Correct, I wonder why it´s depicted so short though. You can´t stop charging cavalry with something that short I think. Also:
  
  The goedendag was probably set in the ground secured by the fighter's foot and aimed with both hands

  Its body was a wooden staff roughly 90 cm to 150 cm (3 to 5 feet) long
  
  Checks out. It's a combination of a club and spear. I'd imagine the shorter version is more on the club side, while the longer one is more on the stabby side.
