The plugin has been submitted to the Chrome Store but has not been approved yet. It is super lightweight and will be better to install locally on its own. I personally don’t trust Chrome Store plugins :) So, you can download the archive, review the source and load it unpacked from chrome://extensions
Invest in yourself and your sanity and use kagi.com. $5/mo. for clean search results, major configurability and a simple switch to turn AI responses off.
I've been using it for months and do not miss the Google swamp at all.

First off, the post reads like a commercial advertisement. Also, the pricing sucks. The $5 monthly rate caps you at 300 searches. Between phone use and studying, I can blow through that in a week or two. The next tier for unlimited is $10/month and the top plan at $25 gives you access to a group of popular AI. Their website is trying hard to sell AI and the pricing model is unattractive.
