[DISC] Dandadan - Episode 11

That anatomy dummy running like Forrest Gump around the school and through the streets was hilarious. The disassembly/reassembly trick to evade Momo was pretty genius as well...he just missed a spot. I am really curious now how this thing ended up with Okarun's ball. Also, how these two things ended up imbued with spirits in the first place.

As for Jiji, I can't say I have fully warmed up to him yet. He is so over the top that it feels like a performance. I suspect that we will get more into his story next episode and make him more likeable. It's what they did for Aira, so I think it's what is coming for Jiji.

Sugita Tomokazu is the best casting choice for Taro. I can see several nods to his character in other shows.

• Him possessing a kintama (Gintama)
• Him demostrating the Joestar secret technique (Jojo)
• Him being a mannequin (Black Rock Shooter Dawn Fall)

The directional choices in showing Jiji's character and the dynamics around Momo's relationship with him and Okarun's jealousy are on point.

As usual, absolute cinema.

I can really imagine highschoolers sticking a golden ball into a biology mannequin crotch.

Also writing and storyboarding was great this episode where seemingly random background conversations mirror the internal state of okarun.

Ahhh Jiji seriously ruined Okarun's chance to try Momo's lunch. He's really annoying but also kinda funny. I'm curious to see his redemption arc.

That manekin was quite inspirational I wonder if Okarun will say the things to Momo if he reclaims the second ball as it seems very very powerful.

Also one more episode left... I'm not ready for it...

That "see you tomorrow" scene was ridiculously sweet, too. MY HEART.

This was the most painful episode ending yet, I need episode 12, now.

I can see that they are getting some sponsorships.

A couple of random things:

The teacher is wearing the distinctive SSSP/Science Patrol uniform from Ultraman. I'm not sure why...
