It can be true... from a certain point of view...
Cortado doesn't sound that difficult to make. It sounds like a variation on an Americano.
Something ridiculous like kopi luwak, or siphon brewed coffee.
Places that have those probably have other ridiculous things, so ask the baristas for recommendations.

Funicular means there's a counterbalance, usually a second car is used as a counterweight.
I have no idea how this particular system works, and there's only one car.

I hate to say this, but the only way to save US democracy is for Biden to use this new "absolute immunity" to arrest or assassinate the SCOTUS and DJT and other enemies of pluralistic democracy.
I doubt that DJT and his allies would hesitate to do the same to their perceived "enemies"
Correction: Looked like a self propelled gun.
Currently looks like chunks of smoking debris.
The CLAMP face style is so different from today's aesthetics...
It's bothering me, this trend of remaking shows with higher budgets, but with less soul.
The Miburo were a real organization during the Tokugawa Shogunate.
The name is short for Mibu Ronin, after the village southwest of Kyoto where they were based.
Third episode: We got a hint of it last episode, but true to isekai tradition, it looks like our MCs have gained OP powers on top of their existing supervillain abilities.
The writing was decent with one funny bit with Rick Flagg attempting to use the bits of local language he learned from the orcs.
And also Deadshot's misinterpretation of his relationship to another character. Deadshot is an over-serious character most of the time.
Overall so far it's been a decent watch. The writers, directors and editors know what they're doing.
Not boring and even some funny highlights.
That was pretty good actually.
I definitely wasn't expecting that, but I'm still not sure what D's plan was, unless it was suicide-by-ranger
A good place to leave off, and I do want to watch more
Then there's this guy still around...
Well done Fighter D! See you next season in 2025!

I would guess that some age ranges and other subgroups of women are also underrepresented on /r/anime, Twitter and MAL+Anilist.
The Anime Corner charts show that there is demand for female-targeted shows.
Vampire Dormitory, Duke Of Death and his Maid, and Crow Doesn't Choose Lord were in that middle range over there.
Bombed both in JP Twitter and on MAL+Anilist:
- Tonbo!
- Crow Does Not Choose The Lord
- Tonari No Yokai-San (weeps)
- Astro Note
- Vampire Dormitory
- Rinkai!
Bombed in JP Twitter, but decent MAL+Anilist:
- Re-Monster
- Misfit of Demon Academy, S2 Part 2
- Banished Hero
- Gods Games We Play
Bombed on MAL+Anilist, but decent in JP Twitter:
- Boukyaku Battery
- Highspeed Etoile
Of course Twitter and MAL, Anilist users aren't representative of the total anime viewing audience, so maybe, for example, Tonbo! may have been a hit among kids or professional golfers or some other high-spending demographic who don't use Twiter, MAL, or Anilist.

Then they cut Mugen Train up into episodes, added a little more footage, and ka-ching!
IMDB says the Swordsmith Village movie did USD$ 56 million in theaters.
Second episode: Just okay. Neither good nor bad.
Fox broadcaster (John Smolz) recycled the cringiest SF Giants joke vs. Dodgers
He must be auditioning for the sports desk on Faux News....
Hopefully to be expanded to a full TV season, as is the way to get additional revenue from by re-using the same footage, e.g Mugen Train, Swordsmith Village.
The cynical view is PT Barnum's "There's no such thing as bad publicity", or more appropriately in this case Oscar Wilde's "The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about."
I understand Momoka, and therefore Nina's strong motivation to succeed on their own musical merits and not be pop sellouts though.
First episode: Very watchable. They tried to do some nice action scenes, but didn't have the budget to pull them off.
The editing was slick though.
Killer Shark was a scene stealer.
The ending felt like a cop out, but a feel good story was good for a change.
A nice way to end the season! I really enjoyed the writing on this show!
The MC Hobin's highs and lows were thrilling! and I really looked forward to this every week.
The Broad Appeal of the Elsa Dress (NYTimes gift link for a couple of weeks)
Wearing a costume from “Frozen” in daily life has become a pastime for many children who identify with the character, regardless of gender.
AMAB kids love wearing the Elsa dress too!
(Crass commercialism, and blonde haired blue eyed white lead character issues aside)
Hopefully this indicates that diverse gender expression becoming even more socially acceptable as the Frozen generation matures into adulthood.
The sister of a man who was shot and critically injured during the Juneteeth celebration at Lake Merritt described what she said was an unprovoked attack on her brother.
Mason Ma, 35, suffered life altering injuries.
His finger had to be amputated, and he is unlikely to have full use of his left leg again.

In Yuru Camp S03e11, this decommissioned trolley is mentioned as being in "Fujisawa Nagasawa Park" but I can't find any references to such a park online.

Some posts, thumbnails appear, but then the "auto expand" image is corrupt.
Sometimes, vice versa

Vintage Tram, Japan
From: https://offbeatjapan.org/abandoned-vintage-trolley-overgrown/
One of a series of photos of the same location and model:

https://offbeatjapan.org/vintage-tram-nature-scene/
https://offbeatjapan.org/abandoned-antique-train-forest/
https://offbeatjapan.org/rustic-cabin-serene-nature-retreat/
There's a tag saying "Chinese" but the destination sign in the front says 銀座 i.e. "Ginza" which implies this tram ran in Tokyo. Also, this website is "offbeatjapan.org" and the photographer Jordy Meow's brief biography says he's based in Tokyo.
i.e. I'm pretty darn sure this was taken in Japan
