Huh interesting. Apparently it's a french-italian-american company with it's hq in the netherlands for tax benefits I'm guessing. So.. I guess the flag sorta checks out?
Yeah, the flags mean very little. Ford of Europe, founded in Ireland and head-quartered in Germany, probably makes up a significant chunk of Ford sales as well. They don't produce the same cars at all though - German Fords are very much not American cars.
Which might be why Ford has stood the test of time so much better than GM.
probably my own bias only because I live in a part of the world that a Tesla is nearly never seen and every other vehicle that drives by my hosue is a Jeep. Thanks for helping me recognize.
