Israel has been planning a response to a ballistic-missile barrage carried out by Iran on October 1, Tehran's second direct attack on Israel in six months.
Several loud explosions were heard in Iran's capital, Tehran, and the nearby Karaj city early on Saturday, semi-official Iranian media said.
It'd be regional, for sure. I don't think Israel is going to pull the US into it, nor Iran pull Russia (mostly because they don't even have the power to fight a war on their own border). Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the rest are going to try to stay out of it as much as they can, but still contribute a little material support. I don't think it's going to be a global conflict.
As a species that got to be number 1, we have nothing left to express our dominating nature on except ourselves. You don't just evolve out of that in a couple hundred years—you gotta have a nature that is highly successful at doing what it does best deeply instilled. It seems every now and then we have to let it out. It's like masturbating to weird porn. We're ashamed after, say we'll never do it again, but over time the nature needs exercise.
It's just what we are. It's in our nature to kill each other if there's nothing left to dominate. We need it. The best you can do is reject it and try be a better person every day, and not hate yourself if that species number 1 nature comes out at times. Evolution is incredibly slow.
Edit: Sorry if no one wanted to hear that. And it's obviously a personal opinion.
A very small percentage of people have this nature... The problem is, because everyone else has a more docile and cooperative nature, the sociopaths are able to just trample them.
Iran launched at least 180 missiles into Israel on Tuesday, the latest in a series of rapidly escalating attacks between Israel and Iran and its Arab allies that threatens to push the Middle East closer to a regionwide war.
