Reddit App has now 4.1 Stars Rating on Play Store
After the app rating was down to about 2.8 stars on Google Play Store recently, it is now at 4.1 stars. Latest ratings seem to be from September 2022 though.
Looks like they've deleted all the 1-star ratings that had been recently added.
How come they delete 1 star reviews for review bombing, but clearly 5 star bot reviews are fair game?
because the company benefits from those.
Anyone tried review bombing with 5 star reviews and scathing comments to see if their system kicks in to remove all fake 5 star reviews in the last x hours? Or is this a manual removal of reviews they do?
2.9 in uk. Most reviews i see are negative towards the app not the service. So i think it would be wrong for google to adjust the scores.

It is very very important to log in to your local Play Store and mark all the reviews you consider helpful...
3.0 is what I see. However I scrolled through hundreds of reviews sorted by "most relevant" and they were nearly all 1 star.

What I find hysterical is that there seems to be more one star ratings than five stars!
The ratings are region-dependent, it doesn't have a 4.1 worldwide.

I see 3.0 and my 1 start review from June is still up. I see one from July 8th this year as well.
It's a 2.7 for me here in Canada

Read a few. The 1 star ratings sound like real (obviously pissed off) people, while the 5 star ratings are as fake as it gets ("This App satisfies all my daily needs" uh... yeah)
This depends on region and version for your device. The rating for me is 3.0

Why does not a thrid party website exist where they are a bit realistic to ratings

4.8 on the App Store… dozens of recent comments (pretty much all) are one star, but I guess it is averaging years of ratings…

For me it shows similar devices than me. (Central Europe, Samsung S10)
I see a 2.9, Southern U.S. with Pixel Fold.
How is the Pixel Fold? My wife is interested in getting one.
I love it. My only gripes are the inside screen not continuing on the outside when you close it, but that could be changed with android 14 or another update. And it does get a decently warm sometimes.
