Video games Assassin's Creed II, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and Stronghold and the movie Gladiator have had scenes there.
Oh! That’s the hub city you upgrade in Assassin’s creed.
While the whole concept of a walled city can be a little exclusionary and militaristic, gosh if they aren't pretty.

Hmm there's the entrance so if I follow the streets to the other end then.. yep! There's the villa. It's just like fake life!
