State leaders call Portland ‘smell’ ordinance unfair, discriminatory after complaint closes pho restaurant
After a Vietnamese restaurant in northeast Portland shut down on Sunday because of an odor complaint filed anonymously by a neighbor, local and state leaders are pushing back on the city’s “smell” ordinance.
Here's the original article I came across bout Pho Gabo closing.
And it looks like Multnomah County will be suspending the ordinance after public outcry.
I'm guessing no one took even one second to realize what an odor code would actually do because as described, it's immediately obvious.
