I can nearly stand straight!! I'm getting better. ( explanation, sciatica puts pressure on the nerves leaving the spine , if you lean forward it relieves pressure and pain. Standing straight means the spine is ok ))
Haven't felt nearly as bad with the latest jab as I did the last booster, but I've been sleeping quite a bit.
Also my arm is sore, as I found out when Zooks was snuggling up to me and stomping on it with her little floofy pawses. Owwww.
A shy monkey, drinking from the cactus, was infected by cordyceps before a tornado swept him away and onto a sloth's tree branch. There, the cordyceps joined hands with the sloth's virus and infected all apples. As a result, no doctors can go near or study the infection source. In the end, only oysters remain.
Medical cannabis appointment today. Wooo. Already passed the screening, so now it's just discussing with the doctor, and then managing to afford it.
Really looking forward to not being in pain all the time.
Edit to add: Whole process was very smooth. Concession discount is huge on the concession products. The doctor was a full hour and a half late, but apparently he was trying to call me directly instead of using the linked telehealth waiting room thing. Didn't get any missed calls though lol.
my mate uses the reddit subreddit for strain reccomendations, apparently some are much cheaper than others so consider going to the appointment pre-loaded with a few preferred cheaper strains to request... because you mention finance.
I went with a provider that does concession discounted products. 10g containers for $70 each.
The doctor felt like a salesman though, he tried to upsell me on $500 more of non-concession products. Which I still would get a 10% discount on, but it came out to way way more than I can afford lol. He clearly didn't want me only getting the discounted products.
Didn't make it to the fishmongers but I cooked up the defrosted tempeh I bought from the Indonesian joint on Glenferrie Road earlier this week. Ugh yessss. So much better than the plastic shit at colesworth.
Having grown up with fresh tempeh wrapped in banana leaves I really miss easy access to good, properly made tempeh that isn't some homogenised health food.
Might even indulge in deep-frying some one of these days 🤭
e: Finished watching Prosper. Eh... thoroughly mediocre. Typical soap opera plot. When can we have something on the calibre of Mr Inbetween again?
Neighbours have forgotten not everyone in the block wants to feel like they live in a night club....
Truly can't wait to move in May, between party house central and the REA not disclosing they would be our neighbours until after signing the lease (still can't believe there are no laws around disclosing something like that prior to signing the lease) I just want to get out.
Craving a nice big juicy fish fillet at a most inconvenient time. I haven't bought fresh/defrosted fish in a while, might womble over to the nice fishmongers when I wake up for a treat. NZ King Salmon if they have it.
Bloody scammers. Not only do I not own a car to put my non existent e-tag on, last time I delt with Centrelink it was a different Millenium and anything sent at 3am is guaranteed to be bullshit anyway.
I think the idea is that they send it in the early hours to either wake you up and get you while you aren't thinking straight, or have you see it first thing while you aren't thinking straight.
Though also, that said, a lot of automated Centrelink messages do go out at midnight. But those are sent to MyGov inboxes, not through texts.
The TikTok baked oats thing was a huge success, but apparently I’ve hit my threshold of healthy food again cause my stomach hurts. Curse this crappy digestive system. On the bright side this means I can eat white bread and come chips tomorrow.
What I don't get is it's supposed to be a funny comedy. ( this is what the makers say in the dvd commentaries ) True it has some funny moments.
But to me I see the world in the movie as absurd not funny. There's a lot of events in the movie that are extreme and barely believable but since it's a movie and we are supposed to suspend disbelief anyway I just shrug them off.
Went to QVM with the Minipeelers and came home with some hand made soaps, dishwashing liquid (can take bottle back for discount refills, which I've been meaning to get started doing) and castanets 💃The soaps were good value and smell devine, especially the lemon myrtle one.
Already after one use of each I like the mens Rexona better. It's weird.
Technically the Pure one is a much 'lighter' type of scent but it felt overpowering as it was really hard not to smell it on myself in a distracting way. (This happens sometimes. A scent will seem light and inoffensive but will have a far reach, like fumes, or just be nauseating and headache inducing for no reason.)
The mens one is a heavier stronger scent but it doesn't project out like that, also it's antibacterial and not a half arsed 'anti white mark' formula. I could be biased but it does seems to be a bit more effective.
Still not loving the overly liquid formula/excess amount that comes out. That makes it hard to cover the area evenly without way overdoing it. I'm trying to apply one swipe and spread it out by moving my arms but it is an annoyance. I may get rid of the pure, try and use up this one, and then see how Aldi offerings are for a similar price.
Other reviews: I prefer drier rollons like Mum and find they're not strongly smelling but don't like floral scents and find they're better against wetness than pong. Also issues with really stubborn aluminium residue.
The Nivea Silver dries really fast and kills bacteria because alcohol but it doesn't have much aluminium and so it doesn't last long at all. It doesn't live up to the claim of 48hr.
I’ve been using Mitchum for quite a long time. The powder fresh ultra super dooper non-gel one. Works perfectly for me and the smell isn’t overpowering (I’m very sensitive to smells so am happy with this one).
