Honestly milk is just bad for cats in general.

But they love it
I love plenty of things that are bad for me.

Because humans can make educated decisions for themselves.
Housecats lack that ability.

They have better judgment than dogs. Many dogs die from biting poisonous cane toads, but cats almost never do, because they leave the toads alone.
They love it because it very similar to their mother's milk, but it lacks the nutrition they actually need.
You can get milk made for cats that they usually like just as much
It doesn't matter, my cats are way more interested in the sour cream spoon laying in the sink instead
Lol my cat's the same. If I have a glass of milk, she'll find a way to lick the rim of the glass if I don't stop her
Things my cat will prefer over her own food:
- meat of any kind;
- potatoes;
- soup;
- wet sausage;
- soft pastries, especially if they have butter in them;
- sour cream, or any cream for that matter;
- sauerkraut.
Sour cream is low in lactose (relative to milk), so I think this is not a big deal.
