They love it because it very similar to their mother's milk, but it lacks the nutrition they actually need.

- meat of any kind;
- potatoes;
- soup;
- wet sausage;
- soft pastries, especially if they have butter in them;
- sour cream, or any cream for that matter;
- sauerkraut.

Sour cream is low in lactose (relative to milk), so I think this is not a big deal.
