I mean, I don't think it's gaining users, and is losing some. I'd love to see any statistics that prove me wrong
Here are some charts.
Active Users seem to be slightly declining, but overall users and posts are growing (slowly but steady). The big cuts in the-federation.info I suspect to be bot purges.
Seems steady otherwise so yeah not dying. Maybe after the next big stupid reddit decision we gain some more people.
Maybe they were talking about Tumblr, Tumblr is absolutely failing.
