Reminds me of Buck Angel telling transphobes he'd have to use the bathroom with their daughters if he were forced to use the one that corresponded with his sex at birth.
Yeah, he's from a different time and it shows sometimes in his questionable views. Internalized transphobia, I imagine. But it doesn't fully negate the good things he has done. People are complicated.
This really does get at the hypocrisy at the heart of these attempts to dictate which bathrooms people are permitted to use. "No, I don't want them using that bathroom either. I don't want that person or people like that person to be allowed to exist at all."
