dont worry, the supreme court will make sure we can all get cancer from capitalists again shortly.
hell, even if its just as an exercise due to the less contagious nature. we need that factory tooled, with multiple vendors.
i remember when you could get disks from netflix.. 7 at a time! i would turn them around same day. it really helped fill out my movie collection
oh wow, not in a long time..well over a decade...almost 2! i gave up on live tv around then
im usin kodi/jellyfin (plex is proprietary) mostly for the 'pseudotv' plugin.. so i can have a cable-like system from my local storage

this is a nice thought, but ignores the fact that most of these 'customers' are being guided by propaganda from other corporations.
its not like those customers are naturally coming to 'i want to destroy my own planet' conclusions. they are led around by a ring in their nose just like the animals they feed.
why do i feel like this gets reinvented every..oh 18 months as some brand new thing.
i swear ive seen 'biodegradable' 6-pack ring stories going back to the 80s
in the movie the weird black rectangles started appearing in jupiters atmosphere. it might have had something to do with the aliens creating a sun for europa, which had some kind of organic life on it
with everything being web-based, windows is slowly turning into a fancy dummy term/thinclient. exactly the control businesses want.
linux on the other hand is being fleshed out as a true desktop pc with all the customization most of us expect of a daily driver.
this is one of my favs. the first time i saw this i had one of those laughing fits where you cant stop... tears, side cramps.
the ending is just so comedically... crisp

ha, yeah.. always keep a burner just in case. i installed a lot of these things. i remember having dozens of those white/blue ibm server disks
pretty damn reliable once up and running. i only ever had wear and tear failures.. fans/drives
the idea being your server can access their api to generate a local defed list. so it would need to be implemented in your servers software.
i know it is not implemented in mbin, but i think it will be a good suggestion.
holy crap does that bring back memories
i would prolly try and get some kind of linux variant installed for containerized nonsense
hmmmmmmmmmmmm i like this. managing the defed spam thing is a pita
if jupiter gained enough mass to trigger fusion and ignite into a star...
a'la 2010, would any moons that survive then be considered 'planets' ?
could we talk about... columbo?
i love this series. peter falk really found a home in the character.
it had this interesting schtick where the murder is quite obvious, often occurring during the opening credits. the guest star of the week attempting to pull of some perfect murder and then columbo seemingly stumbling around them attempting to solve it.
each episode wasnt about who did it, or how they did it.. it was all about the mistake made that would lead columbo to the truth
columbo deserves a reboot, or at least something columbo-like. are there any shows with a similar format?
anyone have any fond memories of columbo?
Death in Paradise (2011) ?
couple of questions...
-
is this any good? im skeptical of the comedy.
-
is it really british? its on like season 13... i thought that was antithetical to british common sense unless youre the doctor...
