Yep, we are now officially the dumbest country.
Still remains to be seen if Elon gets out of state charges though. Or if they’re still willing to withstand wrath for justice. Trump still couldn’t officially do anything about that without unconstitutional threats.
Also, fun fact, since he’s facing state charges of violating state laws, and not federal, Trump couldn’t pardon Elon or get him off the hook even if he does win. At least, not without some corruption involved.
There is no way in hell he will drag it to the next election. Only reason he could do that this time is because they took a very, very long time to build the case, and it was close enough to this election that he could play those cards through Cannon and the Supreme Court.
All the cases are built now, they are ready to go. If he loses twice in a row then his claim of a political “mandate” to anything or that he should be saved for another shot at the presidency is over, and his current scheduled sentencing and further prosecution can begin.
And yes, if he wins, probably none of this will happen.
So go vote against him, everyone.
Not to mention that Elon’s lawyer is making it worse by trying to claim it wasn’t a lottery to begin with. They’re claiming that every paid winner was actually preplanned and a spokesperson, so they’re basically admitting to scamming everyone who signed up for “the lottery.” Also admitting that it wasn’t actually open to every registered voter in a swing state, if they’re now claiming everyone was picked and a paid spokesperson. This is a time delay FAFO.
They can still penalize him and the PAC, make an example of him for next time around, etc. The election being over doesn’t mean Elon’s suddenly in the clear and the legal action is dropped. No different than if Trump loses and ends up back in court again for all the lawsuits he can’t delay any longer for election reasons.
Doesn’t look like he even ruled that far.
And serve it on waffles with powdered sugar.
Probably organic foodies.
Lots of, but not the majority. They could have picked many other things that would seem fun for much larger groups of people, but that would be counterproductive for trying to convince you to work forever.
edit: note that I live on a vacation destination for golf and cruises, and this is still my impression.
Pleasure cruises, golf and tracing the family tree seem like cherry picked bad examples.

He’s probably in for a shock when he leaves the safety of his home state voters.
I think the point is the number of times someone is having such an issue, and those people show up to proclaim they’ve never had such problems as if it’s helpful. So, at least you can recognize it’s not.
from 2 days ago, he’s still having fun

Part of the problem is a phenomenon called “training”, where instead of storms just passing through, they’ll get stuck on the mountain and will pass over the same areas multiple times like a train on tracks. You just have to hope something eventually changes to blow itself off and away from the track.

Filter out crossposts
The new feature to identify cross posts is great, and understanding that it isn’t perfect, can another be implemented to filter out those posts and just leave the original?

And there’s not much he can do about it.

Tesla removes Disney+ from vehicles amid Elon Musk’s Twitter beef with Bob Iger
Tesla has removed Disney+ from some of its vehicles amid Elon Musk having an online fight with Disney CEO Bob...
> Electrek heard from a source that Tesla informed Disney+ last week that it would remove its native app from the Tesla Theatre in its vehicles without giving a reason as to why.
> A few days later, Tesla told Disney that it would only remove the app for Tesla owners who never used the app before.
> The automaker now appears to have acted on the threat, as many Tesla owners are reporting not seeing the Disney+ app in Tesla Theatre anymore. Others, presumably those who have used the app before, are still seeing the app available in their cars.
> We were told that Tesla didn’t officially give a reason to Disney, but the message was sort of “read between the lines.”

Trump wasn't supposed to be moving significant amounts of money around without notifying a court-appointed auditor. He just got caught paying himself so he could pay his taxes.
A court-ordered financial auditor has caught Donald Trump quietly moving $40 million from the Trump Organization into a personal bank account—seemingly so the former president could pay his whopping $29 million tax bill.
Trump isn’t supposed to be moving any money around without alerting Barbara S. Jones, a former federal judge in New York tasked with babysitting the Trump Organization for its relentlessly shady business practices. But on Wednesday, she notified a New York state court about some major bank transfers that were never brought to her attention by the Trumps.

Meta “routinely documented” children under 13 on Instagram and collected their data, according to a newly unsealed complaint.
> Meta has received more than 1.1 million reports of users under the age of 13 on its Instagram platform since early 2019 yet it “disabled only a fraction” of those accounts, according to a newly unsealed legal complaint against the company brought by the attorneys general of 33 states.
> Instead, the social media giant “routinely continued to collect” children’s personal information, like their locations and email addresses, without parental permission, in violation of a federal children’s privacy law, according to the court filing. Meta could face hundreds of millions of dollars, or more, in civil penalties should the states prove the allegations.
