I heard even the dev team behind MS SourceSafe didn't use SourceSafe. I don't blame them.
As if there's a single lead developer behind MS Teams. There's probably like 100+ devs working on it in a dozen teams or more.
Saying millions of dollars like that's a lot of money to spend developing an app. Meta has literally hundreds of devs just working on WhatsApp. You'll burn through around a million dollars in one year with about six devs when you factor in all the costs.
Yeah we know trump is awful, but in the end we could buy more stuff under trump than we can now and that's all we really care about so we voted for him anyway.
Remind me again what style of democracy the Weimar Republic had?
The last government spent 14 years trying to cut all the shit which in their opinion we didn't need. Spoiler: a lot of people have suffered a great deal because of those cuts. What exactly do you think is unneeded and can be cut further?
The thing about shrinking the state as a political ideology is that its logical conclusion is anarchy. We're currently at the stage where public services are failing, the assets have almost all been sold, millions of children are going hungry, and untreated sewage contaminates every river. At what point do you say maybe more cuts aren't actually making things better and we need to start investing instead?
There's no way you're driving 500,000km in an ICE without replacing stuff like spark plugs, clutch, alternator, filters, sensors.
Coastal defenses in wartime aren't really the same thing as a wall to keep civilians in or out.
I stopped playing in the late '90s but my first take on that card is that 3 mana for a flying 3/4 is ridiculously OP. In my day 3 mana would get you a 1/3 with flying.
They should have added an interspecies sex scene.
Steps 1-7 was just you dreaming about having your shit together.
I used to do that in high school, set my alarm early to do the homework I didn't do the night before, I would feel super productive until I woke up for real, late, and with unstarted homework still on the floor.
You're going to miss a lot of the nuance in any complex show that way. A lot of storytelling is nonverbal and easily missed if you're distracted.
It's dead simple: Trump gave billionaires a huge tax cut when he was president. They are backing him because he will do it again if reelected. That's all they really care about.
Be careful about what you take away from influencers like Huberman etc. They are businesses first and foremost, and while their business may involve giving good advice, they're ultimately driven by views which can lead them to exaggerate and overrepresent evidence for the sake of having new, compelling content.
My what now?
Wow. Thanks for sharing.
I just want a picture of a goddamn hotdog
It actually started decades ago with daytime soaps which were designed to still make sense to someone who was busy with housework. Now it just applies to way more shows.
