I've been disappointed by the ending of every King novel I have finished.
Finished The Rise of Endymion, finally. It seemed like it would be a good 400-500 page book but instead was a 800+ page slog. I really enjoyed the first two books in the Hyperion cantos but the last two were rough.
Currently finishing rereading Levithan Wakes and just started Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglas, which is obviously incredibly depressing.

I heard some idiot say he has "concepts of a plan" but no actual plan the other night
I just finished The Mercy of Gods which I enjoyed overall but I was a bit let down. It certainly wasn't as entertaining as Leviathan Wakes. I didn't find the characters particularly enthralling but the plot could go in some interesting directions in the coming books.
Still working on The Rise of Endymion which has become a bit of a slog but is starting to pick up.
Unless they upgraded them recently, the triggers feel awful and cheap
The Metamorphosis made me think of people dealing with chronic illnesses in real life and how they must feel, which made me sad.

I laughed out loud when he gave the eloquent but long winded speech to his boss about how he would make everything right, and when he finishes his mother just screams
It was pretty good. Interesting look into why exactly we are unable to tell when people are being truthful or not. It discusses a lot of different situations like spies being found in intelligence agencies, judges/law enforcement, or the efficacy of "enhanced interrogation tactics". It also touches on high profile cases like Nassar, Maddof, Bland etc.
Just finished "Taking to Strangers" by Malcolm Gladwell. Currently reading "The Rise of Endymion" by Dan Simmons.
Will be looking for more sci-fi or sci-fi/horror to read next.
I'd help them then immediately go online and beg for praise.
They still haven't even fixed the online co-op of the master chief collection though
The difference is that sit in's were directly related to what they were protesting against.
I wish I knew at the time that a good amount of pressure should come from pulling back at the shoulder of the fretting arm, bracing the guitar body with your strumming arm chicken wing. You can practice this by fretting the F without your thumb on the back.
Also, you could try to play the A barre chord at the 5th fret with the same shape as the F barre on the first fret. Will help build some strength
Holy shit, micro transactions for fast travel? What the fuck
Oolimo.com | One of the most helpful sites I've found
The interactive guitar chord compendium. Learn to understand guitar chords. Multi-functional chord diagrams, chord finder and analyzer (chord namer), chord types and chord progressions in pop/rock/jazz, quizzes on guitar chords.
I really enjoy this site, it has helped me learn a lot. There's a lot of useful tools, I especially like the chord analyzer.
