Not a prince, but with a male protagonist, and overall very awesome story: Avatar the last Airbender
Well, doesn't that depend on your package manager? With pacman I can add a custom hook after install to update all flatpaks. I'm sure it could also be done for all snaps and AppImages if I would use any of those.
Isn't there a similar hooking mechanism in apt or yum?
Don't forget about timecop
I never heard of dumb being used in that context, but then again, I'm not a native speaker.
I have heard of "mute" as can't speak, do they share some etymology?
I liked the mistborn series, and found the magic system quite unique and inventive.
I'm now nearing the end of warbeaker, in which I also like his special magic system.
I would have expected to see this story way higher in this thread!
We cannot forget about the wiki, which is a great resource for not only the Arch distro, but for any Linux install.
Seriously, the ease of installing any and all programs from the main repo's or the AUR is such an extreme advantage over all other distros!
And it makes keeping your system and programs updated a breeze.
Speaking as someone who also loves the movie: I won't hate you of it's not your jam, but give it a try nonetheless! Worst case you just lost some time, but you at least gave it a shot.
Is there a way to follow the update status while this instance is down?
I knew the update was coming, so I expected the downtime, but I could not find any info about when it was expected to be up and running again?
Thanks for the great and ongoing work put into managing this endeavor!
This is the first news I've read about relay, how come it's so much later than all the other apps?
And I did like relay, easy and to the point.
The latest jerboa does too, which I dig completely!
Swipe navigation, I'm coming from relay for Reddit, and using a left swipe to go back was really handy.
I keep trying it in jerboa and thunder ... So a lot of unintentional upvotes in thunder and nothing happens in jerboa.
Next is embedded imgur/redgifs opening, which I was also accustomed to.
I use the paprika3 app, not self hosted though.
It does not (yet) have ads though.
In short: because there isn't one Linux, every install can/will differ from another.
I am not a game developer, but this is how I understand it:
There are many differences between rolling, stable releases, which kernel you use, which packages (and version of) you have installed, which window manager or desktop edition you use... All of those factors make it harder to just say "we support Linux"
On top of that, a lot of rolling is greater towards windows users and DirectX. So game developers can create a game quite easily to run on windows, and be quite certain it will run on most windows PCs. But to be able to make it run on Linux, they have to possibly use older features of a specific tool, or another one which does not have all the easy hardware access necessary to make their game run at all, or perform very poorly.
On top of that, Linux gamers are still a very small market share, it has increased with the steam deck, but the amount of console and windows users still far outnumber the Linux ones. So why bother with all the trouble for such a small part of the market?
Too bad their iOS browsers never follow the guidelines as the other two do, even as chrome is kinda balling it right now...
"the bread star"
Yesterday: Cauliflower with yellow bell pepper in a gochujang cream sauce with a side of pig tenderloin.
Today: an aubergine, tomato and olive Tajine.
Tomorrow: some kind of pasta with tomato sauce and a kind of fish, topped with Creston
