  • Thanks I seen the thread on what your reading this week and I posted a comment couple of times but I read sometimes 1 to 2 books in a day depending on how long they are. Only two books took me a week on that list and it was the Fireman by Joe Hill and The Wizards First Rule by Terry Goodkind. But I will try to post more often.

    Not sure on Bingo though.

  • Forgot this is the internet and people do lie on here. I have read all those books of course a lot of the Kindle ones are short stories but I still believe they count.

I list my books I read at end of the year as a tradition. Started for me on Reddit just go look up my user name on there and you will see. Only reason I posted now instead of end of year because this the first time since childhood that I read 100 books.

Why this is possible is two fold I am fast reader always have been, and second my job finally allows me to read at work. Second job that allows this.

But I am always reading weather during my lunch break, or just relaxing at home on the weekend.

  • I can read over 200 pages in a day. Far as time honestly I read a majority of those at work. When we are slow and I am waiting for customers I read. I am lucky to have a boss that allows that.

He used to gripe but I quit if he took my books away and besides I do my job and it doesn't get in the way of doing that. Gasp he also allows me to seat on a stoll but it isn't the most comfortable.

Bugs me when audiobook series do this

Why is one book in the middle of series narrated by someone else? The Zoey Ashe series did the same thing. Mildly frustrating.

With the controversy with the border in Texas. Why has no once asked what is driving so many to the boarder?

I was eating at a restaurant and they had Faux news on (I know it sucks and hate that we have to see that garbage)

They were discussing the border and they claim that over 1.5 million people are trying to cross into the US from 150 plus other countries. Knowing how they can be so full of shit hard to imagine that being true.

But it did get me wondering there is a lot of people trying to cross and the ariel shots I seen If true we are talking about thousands trying to flee into the states.

Instead of trying to stop them from crossing why are we not addressing the cause? How come we aren't maybe trying to see if we can solve the problem that causing them from running away from their homes?

I am sure America is probably responsible for some of that turmoil so why we not discussing that and fixing our mess instead of trying pass bills closing our boarders?

Also on a side note sick of all the fucking mega fucks and racist rednecks throwing fits about the boarder. Unless your native American we all fucking immigrants. Especially all the caucuses.

Just why are we allowing this to cause us to almost on the brink of a civil war. Bad enough that we locking these people in cages. That something the Biden administration should have ended on day one of his administration.

So what could we be doing to fix this problem?

I am pissed apparently Holly by Stephen King will not be narrated by Will Patton

I pre ordered the audiobook because I have everyone of the books in the series with this character and have been excited for this novel.

I will most definitely will read the physical copy first, but I always later listen to the audiobook. Was looking at the narrator and noticed it will not be Will Patton. Instead it says narrated by a Justine Lupe and Stephen King.

Love when Stephen King narrates his novels but disappointed because was looking forward to Will taking up the voice of Holly again.
