Started IF again after a few years off, already 10lb down!

I saw the lack of content here and thought I'd share my story

I first discovered IF back in Dec 2018, and did it all the way through the start of 2020. I (5'6") went from 240lb down to 195.

Then well, that thing we all went through in 2020 happened and I eventually stopped. It was also a hugely transitory period in my life and I let my weight come back on. (I moved out of the house, in with my now wife, changed jobs twice, moved again... All in the midst of the pandemic and its related insanity)

Now I'm in a much better spot, but I've put everything I lost back on and more.

That said, I've now gone from 250 to 240. Trying to eat lighter, snack less, and be intentional about my macros. I like sticking to a 16:8 window, but I shorten it if it makes sense on a given day.

I remember the community being a huge motivator, so, Good luck out there!

  • Yeah I'm in WDR too and they seem... Unnecessarily strict

I literally just want some help doing A Night At The Theatre for my Quest Cape and they apparently want Virtus KC before they'll even help you...

    Shit's backwards as hell.

  • ‘My whole library is wiped out’: what it means to own movies and TV in the age of streaming services
  • Then buy a physical copy and store backups on a media server.

That or buy the media on a digital service and rip the file or screen capture it out.

Even buying a physical copy only entitles you to "ownership of a license" nowadays anyway. Ie: how Nintendo gets away with all their bs surrounding emulation.

  • Hades II is now available in Steam Early Access!
  • Supergiant has the level of respect from me that early Blizzard had.

They have done nothing but release complete, solid games throughout their history. Everything in their library is at least an 8/10 and worth the money imo.

I have no reason to believe Hades 2 will be any different based on the tech test and the couple hours I played today.

  • Hades II now Early Access on Steam [EA reviews are already ~9/10] [verified SteamDeck]
  • Pyre was arguably a miss

But I see it as more of a red-headed-stepchild of their games.

It still has the trademark excellent writing and gameplay, but it didn't sell well because it's just a quirky game.

There was no market for a "wizard-basketball visual novel" (their words, not mine)

  • Hades II now Early Access on Steam [EA reviews are already ~9/10] [verified SteamDeck]
  • The tech test was already feeling really solid. New characters, more detailed art, continuation of the story from Hades 1 with a new big bad....

I'm a fan of Supergiant in general, so I'm really excited to get further into it.

  • Someone ported Infinity Blade 1 to PC (And it's playable on Steam Deck!)

I've missed this series for a long time, and I'll never forgive Epic for dropping it like a baby giraffe.

It plays pretty well on my gaming rig, but I'd love to hear about how it plays on lower-end systems. Maybe I'll install it on my 2-in-1 so I can use the touch screen.
