Multi-Reddit style feed

I'd like to have a feed which consists of a group of communities dedicated to a specific topic but exists apart from the subscribed communities in my Home feed. Can't currently figure out how to do this with Boost, or Lemmy in general. Is it possible?

Option to input a hex value for "Primary" and "Toolbar text" colours.

Every other setting in theme > customise colours gives the ability to input any hex value, other than primary and toolbar text. I'd like to change the tb text to a shade of grey, instead of b/w, and the primary colour to a shade of green not available from the default selection. Is it possible that full customisation be implemented for these two settings?

Spoiler visbility and image embedding

Using this post as an example:

https://lemm.ee/post/16379151

In the Web UI, it renders as a dropdown Element that needs to be clicked in order to show the images.

In Boost (and other apps I tried), it displays "spoiler spoiler" at the beginning of the post, but doesn't hide anything. Would be great to get properly rendered spoiler tags.

The images in this post I had to manually embed by using the code ![description](image link). It would be great if the formatting shortcuts in the editing window had a button for embedding a picture hosted externally that inserts this code.

Extend the "suggest a title" functionality to links in the post body/comments

When making a link post, we can automatically generate a title

When I want to share a link in the comments, I need to manually copy and paste the article/video title over. It would be nice to have that generate too

1

Show true subscription counts

Right now when you search for communities, it uses the number of subscribers from your home instance only. This is also how web Lemmy works, but it isn't useful and it makes communities look dead when they're not.

If you instead pull the subscriber and comment count from the community's home instance, it would be accurate.

upvotes history

I would upvotes so much more if I knew there was an easy way to find them again afterwards. I know save is a feature but I use save for special posts, I feel like it's been this way for most people for most social network, for years. I also don't see any app having this feature so I am guessing there's a limitation somewhere in Lemmy but there has to be a way?

mark read on scroll

lemmy.world [Request] mark read on scroll - Lemmy.world

IIRC, this was a feature in the Reddit client. There was an option to mark posts as read as they scrolled off the top of the screen. Are there any plans to implement this in boost for lemmy? Thank you.

hide downvote icon of instance disabled downvotes

on my instance, downvotes are disabled but in boost they still show (while doing nothing obvs). It would be nice to not show them at all. eternity for lemmy does this so their must be a way to know if they're disabled or not

love the app :)

Mark As Read On Scroll

Available in the other lemmy apps, I've grown to like this option
