I love the inclusion of the Rwandan proverb translated into Gallifreyan. It's a really cool way to portray homage to the Doctor's character while also including non-Western influences.
As to the design of the screwdriver itself, I quite miss the old cylindrical design. I'm sure it'll be fine in action though.
I will just call it a sonic gadget. Not as awesome sounding as the screwdriver, but maybe it will catch on.
The Gallifreyan symbols are nice. Imo, this is NOT a sonic screwdriver.
I think the sonic remote looks better than the sonic specs.
