Let's hope they manage it. Would suck if they accidentally prove that witches exist.

There is no proof that witches even exist, yet people were killed for being witches. Kind of like people are killed for believing in the "wrong" god. People really need to be thought how to think!
8 0 ReplyIt's not "kind of like..." it's exactly the same. Witch trials were state-sponsored Christian extremists murdering innocent people.
18 0 ReplyMore like state-sponsored lynching of women for the crime of saying no. Witch hunters had some wacky views on what women should be like.

I don't support killing people for witchcraft or anything, but why? Can the state of Massachusetts actually do anything?
6 1 ReplyWhen it boils down to it, the state sanctioned the killings in the first place and all these people are asking for is some symbolic recognition of the victims, is that really too much to ask of the state?
15 0 Replywho tf cares, this is on the bottom of the bottom of the list for things that should have any resources allocated towards dealing with.

What's the point? Nobody thinks they were actual witches
7 2 ReplyWe have people who think there are literal demons in the government. Some of them have to believe that witches are a real and present danger.
