Leider nicht. Jemand hatte wohl Mal Berechnung angestellt einen mechanischen C64(???) Prozessor zu bauen, allerdings wäre bei der Anzahl der mechanischen Teile und Zahnräder selbst bei optimaler Fertigung und Schmierung die Reibungshitze aller Teile im System so groß geworden, das es sich in kurzer Zeit selbst zerlegt hätte.
Es gab zwar mechanische Rechenmaschinen, nur waren die verglichen mit einem einfachen Computer deutlich weniger leistungsfähig und weniger komplex, und brauchten bei Multiplikation auch teilweise extrem lang.
Abgesehen davon wäre der Energieaufwand euch gigantisch, wenn für jeden einzelnen takt mit Elektromotoren kilo (tonnen?) weise Zahnräder bewegt werden müssen, und eine KI Milliarden Takte pro Eingabe ausführen müsste.
Und was für ein schönes Zitat des Künstlers über das Werk:

Manchmal frage ich mich, ob es sich bei den ganzen Verschwörungsgläubigen nicht tatsächlich um die größte Trollgruppe überhaupt im Internet handelt und wir es nur nicht durchschauen.
