I am not feeling well, I feel guilty about how little I care about the billionaires lost in the titanic submersable, I feel bad for the 19 year old on board who didn't wanna go. Some comfortlwould be nice
I don't feel bad for the rich people and I don't feel bad about it. I just told my fiancée that I want to start HRT and she said she needs to talk to a counselor because she has issues with it. She really doesn't like any kind of change in her life.
Sorry to hear about your fiancée. Give her time, talking to a counselor is probably the best decision she could make. Answer any questions she has for you and talk realistically about what transition will mean for you.

I wouldn't feel guilty about not caring about a high-profile death. People you've never heard of die every minute, and we aren't equipped with enough empathy to care about them all.
I'm... hanging in there. The overlap between the Christian and Trans communities is nearly non-existent, and both are blaming the other for all the world's problems, so being both is really fucking hard right now. My pastor just recently went out of his way to make sure we understood that LGBT=bad and I feel like I should complain but don't know how to do so without outing myself. I wish I could transition without losing everyone I know and love, and have found myself passively pushing away from old relationships. I've been looking into other churches but finding a place that is actually accepting and actually teaches the Bible feels just as impossible as transitioning right now.
You could call your pastor a heretic because he doesnt follow your doctrine correctly(jesus loves everyone unconditionally, including sinners) but I doubt it would do anything.

I don't feel bad for the dead. They don't have to deal with the consequences of their actions. Not anymore.
I feel bad for the wives and children that have to mourn a spouse or father that - while idiots, were still their spouses or fathers - while the rest of the internet is pissing on their graves.
Don't feel bad. How you are feeling is valid even if it isn't always logical. You didn't know these people and it can be hard to empathize with those in a very different situation as ourselves. It is sad they lost their lives but the risks were outlined when they boarded the sub. But you also don't owe these people your emotions or energy. You don't owe them to feel remorse for their deaths. Just feel your feelings as they come and don't worry if you feel empathy for the people on the sub.
