What the actual fuck is that red card
10 0 ReplyThat is some fucking BULLSHIT. HOWWWWW!????!?!?
8 0 ReplyFucking infuriating cannot be overturned because it's a yellow. Fuck that
4 0 Reply
I would like to see Zinchenko and Trossard come on... This experiment isn't quite working
7 0 Reply100%, players need to return to their usual positions.
2 0 ReplyTake Partey out and move Tomi back there..he works much better with Saka
2 0 Reply
That is not a foul. Holy fuck was that a bad call.
7 0 ReplyThat wasn’t even a foul + Ayew actually has made two yellow card fouls and is still on the pitch.
7 0 ReplyIt was a foul but not worthy of a yellow imo

So, that's 3 left back options that are unavailable for the next PL match (interestingly, none of them are really left backs).
- Zinchenko: short-term injury
- Timber: long-term injury
- Tomiyasu: suspension
I wonder who option #4 is? Probably Kiwior, even though he also isn't a left back?
7 0 ReplyIt should be Tierney but it will be Kiwior
2 0 ReplyZinchenko will play next match and kiwior will come in to give him a rest probably. Still don't know why arteta hates tierney
1 0 Reply
I don't want to overreact, but Zinchenko came on and we basically started controlling the game, even with 10 men
6 0 ReplyNow if only Zinchenko could stay healthy. We're a different team when he's on.
5 0 ReplyHonestly if we could just find ways to cope for a few games while we give Zinchenko and Partey a break, we could be cooking
2 0 Reply
Another perfect last grasp tackle from Saliba.
5 0 ReplyFollowed by Eddie sending the ball over the bar.
2 0 ReplyEddie gotta stop doing this to us lmao
2 0 Reply
He's so good.
1 0 Reply
What a bullshit second yellow card. Ref has lost his fucking mind.
5 0 ReplyOh wow, look at that! What a promising counter, if not for Eddie being fouled. I wonder if there's something that we could do to discourage players from doing that?
5 0 ReplyAnd now Eddie got kicked in his ribs lol
1 0 ReplySums up the Eddie Nketiah experience
1 0 Reply
I just want a comfortable win. Hopefully the upcoming weekend but I'll settle for it being the United game.
5 0 ReplyRoy Hodgson seems like a good sport.
5 0 ReplyI don't get why we are playing with partey in defense and tomiyasu on his weaker side.
I get zinchenko is just coming back from injury but Tierney can't even make the bench? Put partey in with rice and have havertz come in off the bench if needed.
We don't look very fluid right now and having partey cleaning up in the midfield behind rice and odegaard would be really useful
5 1 ReplyPartey man, I'm telling you. He's itching to give the ball away.
5 1 ReplyArteta looks fucking pissed
4 0 ReplyHe only has himself to blame
1 5 Reply
So, Arsenal effectively finished the game with 3 CBs, 4 CMs a winger, and a ?Forward? (Havertz)
- CB: Gabriel, Saliba, Kiwior
- CM: Partey, Rice, Jorginho, Zinchenko
- Saka, Havertz
Interesting for a team that wasn't playing a 3-at-the-back formation at any point.
4 0 ReplyOur entire defensive staff was on the pitch 😂
1 0 ReplyWith zero fullbacks.

4 0 ReplyONE NIL TO THE ARSENAL
4 0 ReplyThere was no fucking contact wth
3 0 ReplyThere you go, proper Arsenal matchday.
3 0 ReplyI'm very curious to hear what Arteta has to say about the anti-time-wasting stuff they've implemented.
3 0 ReplyHe cannot be happy and he shouldn't. Robbie Mustoe and Higginbotham made a good point, the team needs to be able to learn to grind out wins like this in situations like this. Definitely lesson learned
1 0 Reply
Yo Mikel's hair has gotten more gray
3 0 ReplyThe manager job taking 20 years off his life.
2 0 Reply
Oh thank god we held on.
Mikel, pleaaaase do not try anything new Saturday. We were very lucky CP don't have any finishers.
I'm very ticked off about Tomiyasu's two yellows.
3 0 ReplyDear Lord, what a tackle
3 0 ReplyCrystal Palace are not a bad team.
3 0 ReplySo they're still not punishing goalkeepers for taking five years to take a goal kick?
3 0 ReplyPartey did well after the red card
3 0 ReplyDefending like mad...but then again the entire team did good defending like mad
2 0 Reply
Prepare for prime Hodgsonball from Palace
2 0 ReplyAll 11 of our players in defense.
2 0 ReplyHOLD THE BALL
2 0 ReplyOh fuck....
2 0 ReplyWHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON
3 1 ReplyOn a non-sarcastic note, I don't like how tired we look. Should be safe to assume we'll make at least two more fresh legs subs
2 0 ReplyWe haven't looked a sharp as how we started last season, still fatigued
1 0 Reply
I don't know why Arteta doesn't make some changes at the hour mark. Trossard for Nketiah, even Gabriel for Tommy.
You get some fresh legs up top, and a solid defense.
Tangent: Holy shit we're lucky.
3 1 ReplyHe's a Pep disciple
2 0 ReplyBecause you don't make changes when things are looking like the 2nd goal is around the corner and no one is struggling
2 0 Reply
Lol really? Is that how they're going to play it?
2 0 ReplyGrasping at straws a little bit...
2 0 ReplyHOLY FUCK IT'S HAPPENING
2 0 ReplyIt's kind of funny to watch defenders dance along while marking Martin, and then stumble because they can't keep up
2 0 ReplyLooooooooooool you're serious now?
2 0 ReplyParty looks uncomfortable in that right corner.
2 0 ReplyFor forks sake put Zinchenko on
1 0 Reply
Sorry work, its going to be a slow afternoon for me. Not surprised to see the same line up, and hopefully we continue to build on out season with another win.
2 0 ReplyWe do something from a set piece? How on earth!
2 0 ReplyRefs don't fuck us out of a pen via VAR? What a Monday!
1 0 ReplyOkay well I find myself corrected
1 0 Reply
Saka is so good.
2 0 ReplyFeel like this one of these games where we need to shut this game down quick...Palace is definitely waiting for a mistake
2 0 ReplyI absolutely hope that NBC does not put Andros Townsend on more of the games, irritating af
2 0 ReplySaying the palace non-penalty was the only thing the refs got wrong made me crack up laughing
2 0 ReplySo many cards this match it's like Christmas
1 0 Reply
Oh, Oleks... you know you can't do that
2 0 ReplyLove seeing Declan and Tomi shouting instructions on the pitch...
And there goes the Saliba chant
2 0 ReplyRice lose a contact lense? I never consider footballers have them.
2 0 ReplyI wonder whether we'll ever see footballers get Lasik or similar subsidized by the clubs.
2 0 ReplyGlad he found it. He'd have to awkwardly run to the locker room for a new one. Lol
1 0 Reply
Oh is that what it was, thought he had something in his eye 😂
1 0 ReplyAbsolutely surprised he wears them
1 0 Reply
Partey is a bit sloppy with his passes
2 0 ReplyAgree... He's just getting pushed around as well
2 0 Reply
Wtf Tomi.
1 0 ReplyRefs really trying to push these time wasting rules. He barely touched him.
5 0 ReplyNot to mention the "time wasting" for the first card, while Johnstones stands over every goal kick like he's about to start sculpting a masterpiece
7 0 Reply
The group high five with Gabi, Ramsdale, and Saliba
1 0 ReplyThe boys <3
2 0 Reply
Damn it Eddie look up for a change
1 0 ReplyMy twerk kings coming on
1 0 ReplyNelli should have buried it😕😣
1 0 ReplyReally prefer White in that RB position. Hope Gabi gets back into the team soon.
1 0 ReplyEddie took on 2 defenders well. Did it all right except the finish.
1 0 ReplyBloody Christ Eddie......
2 1 ReplyWe're going to pass them to death. Lol
1 0 ReplyJust tiring them out...
2 0 Reply
Odegaard with our first shot on target. Our captain doing it himself if he has too
1 0 ReplyWhat a shot that was too

EYO
1 0 ReplyI'm glad to see this cynicism with fast starts from free kicks, but... perhaps.... maybe.... we could do something with it?
2 1 Replylol, aged well
1 1 Reply
Maybe Zina for Kai? Tomiyasu status at LB.
1 0 ReplyWe're never scoring on the counter
1 0 ReplyIf an opposing player held back a counter attack like that, we'd be demanding a yellow card. It's unfortunate, but he was in trouble when he got the first card for time wasting, he couldn't take that chance.
I wonder if this means that Gabriel will actually start the next match. I haven't been happy with this weird makeshift back 4 anyhow.
3 2 ReplyHolding the ball for 8 seconds, not fouling a guy, red card.
3 1 ReplyCumulative time wasting, Havertz held it for 15 seconds and Tomi for 8 seconds afterwards. The player who has the ball gets carded.
1 0 Reply
Exactly, it was a counter and he was baited by the turn. It isn't enough for a yellow imo but it is still a foul. Whether or not it is a yellow is up to the refs discretion. Still you shouldn't be baited with a swivel like that at this level.
1 0 ReplyYou have to be aware you're on a yellow card too. Even if you get baited, you have to rely on your other defenders. He was in Palace's half at the time, so there was time to get back.
2 0 Reply
3 points won but we need to return to a back four with Zinchenko, Gabriel, Saliba and White.
1 0 ReplyAt least we're getting that call for us. Eze with we great skills.
1 0 ReplyOdegaard and Eddie way too one-footed
1 0 ReplyPartey hit the goddamn ISS with that clearance
1 0 ReplySaka doing just enough to keep him off balance but not fouling.
1 0 ReplyPretty sure all of Palace's in-box touches came from Eze dancing around Rice
1 0 ReplyJorgi coming on...
1 0 ReplySomebody spike our water with something to make us see the goal 5 meters to the right or left?
1 1 ReplyUnfair, but can't get baited like that
1 1 ReplyThat is incredibly unfair. He shouldn't even be on a yellow to begin with.
7 0 Reply
Not impressed with anything I've seen so far.
2 2 ReplyMikel doesn't trust his subs
1 1 ReplyOh for fuck's sake
