- The old Netflix logo lasted until 2014
- Sausage party was released in 2016
Maybe he has the old Netflix logo because he uses an older generation of iPad that didn't get any more updates.
Also, I could be wrong, but it looks like they cut off some pixels from the right side of the MJ art so it fit better. Look at the "25". No way they would cut it off like that on purpose.

MJ jokes stopped being funny in 2003
Never even thought about it being a specifically MJ joke. Just thought the 3 posters looked funny together. Could've been anyone in the same pose instead of him and it would've been the same basic joke. One less layer to it, sure, but still.
Except there were rumors for a long time that Michael Jackson sexually abused Macaulay Culkin at the Neverland Ranch. Granted, Macaulay has repeatedly denied those rumors, but still. If it were anybody else in the pose of Michael Jackson, the joke wouldn't work as well.
