In the top image there is a fight going on inside the cage which is tagged "LGBT+ spaces", outside of the cage is a fighter looking in, tagged "bigot".
In the middle image we see the outside fighter hanging off of the gate to the cage, trying to break the chains keeping it locked.
In the bottom image the outside fighter has got in to the cage, where another fighter is on their knees leaning on one hand, the bigot is shouting at them "STOP FORCING YOUR VIEWS ON TO ME!"
All that's missing is him trying to drag them out of the cage.

Except those mods weren't bigots; just out of touch. At worst, it would be the rep dragging them out because they personally found the cage stuffy.
I don't know how else to look at them explicitly stating they made the move so they don't have to entertain trolls. .
They felt moving the entire community was a justified action because they were asked to respect drag's identity. They made the choice that they wanted to move to a place where they get to judge whether or not someone's identity is "valid". It's disguisting.
I think i saw at least one mod say they're trans, and i know I've seen some other trans individual's not like blahaj's stance on neopronouns. Maybe they just feel they're being made fun of by how some people are identifying themselves. I'm wanting to give a benefit of a doubt because me, a cishet ally, calling a trans individual a bigot is pretty fucked up, but like i said i just don't know how else to look at this. I just want to accept everyone for who they are. I have a close friend who use the fae/faer neopronouns for instance so that's why throwing the biggest tantrum in lemmy history over drag's identity bothers me. It feels like they are invalidating my friend's identity too and that's not cool.
If the mods needed to remove themselves because they thought they were being trolled then i can support people doing what they need to do for their own mental wellbeing, but it doesn't change that the root issue (not respecting someone's identity) is at least "potentially problematic" and at worst bigoted.
I would say they are very much the ones who opened the gate to the cage and waved the outsiders in, lets not pretend as if they just removed themselves.
Sometimes I wanna know why people downvote things, but in this case, I’m perfectly fine not reading rants from bigots. Just seethe in silence, jackasses.
