My wife and I really liked it, although because she lost her dad from ALS some parts really hit her hard. Not a bad thing though, I think it was a therapeutic. Even for me not having gone through that I'll admit I shed a couple tears at times.
Yes this exactly. In dark times, a little lighter fare helps uncrush the soul. For us old farts it's nice also to see some familiar old actors in supporting roles.
I think I'm the outlier here. I couldn't do it. I tried watching this show and I just felt dumber for having done so. To be clear, I don't need all of my shows to be heavy. I can get behind a well-written comedy. But this one ... isn't.
