U.S. officials say the Pentagon will begin deploying as many as 1,500 active duty troops to help secure the southern border in the coming days.

Not sure how that's supposed to fly with posse comitatus but there you go! Maybe immigration isn't considered "domestic policy"? 🤔
iirc he's gonna 'declare' an 'emergency' in order to post active duty military there.
"Domestic policy" isn't the actual language it's "execute the laws"
Not that it matters, since there are many notable exceptions that the executive branch can, more or less, handwave in.
I'd love to see his face when he finds out that a lot of the troops he's sending down there are hispanic as well.
