Some background info from LinkedIn:
✅ What Paris Did Right:
- Built 1,400 km of protected bike lanes and cycling infrastructure.

- Embraced the “15-minute city” concept to bring amenities closer to residents.
❌ What Paris Left Behind:
- Restricted through traffic in the city center.
- Banned older diesel vehicles.
- Introduced higher parking fees for SUVs.
- Reclaimed 70,000 parking spaces from cars.

40 0 ReplyMaybe I'm not understanding things properly but, aren't the latter four points also good to fight against pollution? Or is it just car-brained people complaining that they cannot take their car wherever they want anymore?
19 0 ReplyI think it's more meant in a push/pull way. So what did they do to incentive people to take an alternative to a car and how did they punish people who do take a car.

12 0 ReplyMy interpretation is that the first list is new positive things they built to make it feasible and the second list are actions they took to reduce the things causing negative impacts.
