I completely forgot the US still uses lie detectors... Jesus christ, what a backwards country.
They at least block them in court, so while law enforcement can use them, "results" from them are not admissible in court.
Killer is long dead though
It is still important to be able to identify the suspect of such a crime regardless if they are alive or dead by the time they can be named.
Identify the perpetrator you mean? The suspect had been long identified
