Penn State paid the price for boring football. Down 7, 1st and goal inside 10 yard line, 3 runs in a row straight up the middle. 4th down was a pass down the middle into a crowd of Ohio State DBs. Didn't even try a jump ball to their big TE.
Did Ohio State go cheap on QB and got this guy instead of getting some other transfer QBs? Oh like that guy in Oregon for instance? He hasn't impressed me. Throws a pick 6 on his first pass in the game. Choked in winning time against Oregon last week. Just can't perform in big moments.
Ah hahahaha Penn State didn't get a PI call. Sweet karma coz refs didn't call it against them when their DBs were literally mugging USC receivers every play in OT.
Ohio State QB running in for the score, fumbles at 1.5 yard line, and the ball bounces off his thigh out the end zone for a touch back. This is his 2nd turnover. Both cost Ohio State 2 scores.
Miami fan here. The problem is that most of Miami’s alumni move to other states. It’s a private school with a small current-student population. The stadium is 30 minutes away from campus. And there’s just too much other stuff to do. I hate it though. We don’t need a 50,000+ seat pro stadium. Give us a small stadium near campus, and it’d be a lot better.
This is realistically the best that could be hoped for after Lagway got hurt, but this is the insidious hold that college football has over a soul. Why should I have hoped at all? Hell, I don't even really like Billy Napier, LOL.
Was out and about a lot in the first half, but between audio and streaming, I have been able to keep up to date more or less, and I've been all over the place. This would be a job-saving win for Billy, maybe even more so with Lagway out. Sounds like a bad hamstring, which makes me suspect we've seen either all of Lagway this year, or at least the best we're going to.
