server suddenly not working?

edit - turns out rebooting it five times is what works.

when I'm using any of my Plex players, it acts like my server is turned off. when I go into settings, it says that my server is unavailable with a secure connection. I've tried restarting everything, rebooting everything, I can't watch my server.

What happens if you navigate to {server's IP address}:32400?
Have you forwarded the port plex is using for connections?
In the settings, go to the network tab and set Secure Connections to “Preferred” rather than “required”.
- I swear to god I'm not trying to be a douchebag, I'm asking this question because I need to know the answer. are you not able to see my edit at the top of this post? I made the post 15 hours ago, I edited it probably 14 hours ago, but as much as 4 hours ago I still have people commenting solutions.
  
  If you don’t wanna deal with more comments, you can just delete the post. But you’re not the only one who will ever have this question, and others would like an answer other than just “rebooted a bunch of times.”
