[2017, Under Trump] North Carolina denied 99 percent of federal recovery funds for Hurricane Matthew
North Carolina will receive less than 1 percent of the federal funds it requested to cover damages associated with Hurricane Matthew, which hit the East Coast in October.
He was just being a sulky boy because nobody would let him nuke that hurricane.
So this politics sub leans far left too?
Trump invited it by lying and saying Biden isn't offering any help.
But also yes.
Its the truth. It happened. Pointing out how a dolt45 handled assistance for a hurricane in 2017 is just fact. It is also a fact that Biden isn't playing a childish game like that. He is getting the help where its needed. Its not right vs left. Its right vs wrong.
Anyone trying to politicize any disaster is an absolute piece of garbage.
Hard disagree, many disasters were directly caused by political decisions. Such as the severity and frequency of the last decade of hurricanes. We chose to make them that severe, actively, wantonly chose that. It should be political.
Going to agree with you here, if the people who decide disaster relief are elected or controlled by elected officials, it is inherently political. Was this not the same year that the ex president insulted himself by calling the president of Puerto Rico names do to his response to a hurricane. You know, the same hurricane they obstructed relief funding for
