Max Verstappen wins the 2023 Hungarian Grand Prix

Not as exciting as I had hoped, but still a decent race.

I don’t see Red Bull stoping at just 12 consecutive wins, it’s going to be a season for the record books.

I genuinely could see them winning every remaining race. They’re rapid in race trim and it’s not even close.

Yes we’ve had 12 Max wins, but what about 13?

Piastri with another solid race which for me, proves his quality. He has been on the pace immediately when given the upgrades and I have no doubt he can take a win either this season or next (assuming McLaren keep up the car development)

To be fair Max asked him what his record was.
- Max knows a lot of stats, he’s pretty good at those quizzes they play on the f1 YouTube channel. In the interview it looked like he already knew Nico’s record was 7 before he asked

In terms of race wins, yeah it would be nice to see some variety. But if you ignore what's going on with Max, it's still exciting to watch the rest of the field changing round race after race. AM, Merc, Ferrari and now McLaren keeping us guessing who else is going to be on the podium, and Checo being a bit of a wildcard keeps the races interesting at least.

As someone who has sat though years of Mercedes domination I am happy for a change of leadership. The past three seasons have been more exciting in general as well. Get back to me when Resbull wins the 8th consecutive constructors in 2029.

The rest in f the field has been pretty mobile. McLaren coming up through the ranks. AM slipping down. Mercedes clawing out what they can. Ferrari Ferrari-ing. Plus Williams popping up out of nowhere. The overall, a pretty good season if you take out the front runners, which prob makes most seasons more interesting anyway

I started watching during Merc dominance, so it’s nothing new. I’m more excited for the fight for P2 every race now. We’ve genuinely got 4.5 teams in contention for it every race, and it’s been incredibly competitive so far.

This is better than HAM VER BOT or VER HAM BOT every race

It honestly doesn't bother me. Formula 1 is just as much an engineering competition as it is a driving competition. This is just the nature of non-spec series.

Not to mention the fantastic competition behind RB.

Not at all. The fight for podium is pretty tense now that Mercedes and McLaren are more equal.
I haven’t watched any of the last 4 of the Max Verstappen Invitational Races.

Max is honestly just practicing to overtake slower classes once he switches to endurance by now

Man, this season is too boring. But it's not his fault. He is unstoppable and Red Bull is a step above everyone else. The fight between the other teams is cool though. Aston Martin dropped off a lot.

- I had a second reddit acct that wasn’t subbed to f1 and had it blocked on all to avoid spoilers when I couldn’t watch it right away. I’m gonna have to do the same here. I’d really like a rule about spoilers within 48 hours of the race….
