Looks excellent. I have been waiting for that to be finally released. They have been teasing it for at least 2 years now.

I guess I'll try setting up a Pixelfed instance next month 🤔

  Because while I find Lemmy great, it's not for everyone. Some of that is the people, some of that the form factor. With PixelFed groups, we'll have a new influx of users and groups to interact with. What's not exciting about that?
It's gonna be compatible with Smithereen groups, too 👀
