Makes you wonder what they took over before the Unas.
Unas were the first hosts. Thus their name - Unas/First. The Unas and Goa’uld evolved on the same home planet.

The show never explained whether or not Goa'uld could infest an Asguard either.
Taking into consideration all the details I'm remembering right now, probably no.
- Asgards are small. Nowhere to hide for the goa'uld.
- Genetically speaking, Asgards are fucked up. If a goa'uld tried to interface with one, they'd likely die.
- As mass produced clones, the bodies likely have some security system implemented. Anti-piracy DRM or something. Cloneuvo.
I also really like it was revealed the Goa'uld don't need to do the eye glow thing or the voice thing, but they just love the drama so they do it for the sake of it.
