My current provider, like all of them, jacked up my leccy prices in July, but a bit too far for my liking. The Gov comparison site, which I used last time, is still pretty good and you dont need to give your data to private corps lile iselect / meerkat. Hopefully a considerable saving on the new provider, but sill not as cheap as last years prices.
Always worth reviewing your plans periodically. I wasted $100s in recent years by not paying enough attention to my plan and it's comparable rates from the competition. Lesson learned!
Not dumb. Sorry for not elaborating. FiT = Feed in Tarriff. How much the power company will pay you for solar power you generate and feed back into the grid.
If you are a concession holder in SA, consider signing up for the SACEDO offer with Origin Energy. It's the lowest cost (non-solar, non-battery) energy plan available and doesn't have late fees, etc. Make sure you are also registered for the other various energy discounts.
I switched to Tango just the other day - simply because they were the cheapest. Any horror stories I should know before the cooling-off period expires?
Check out productreview.com.au I guess. TBH I have been with providers who have been 2 star and less and I havent had too many problems. But you can probbaly find some horror stories on there.
Yeah I'm keeping an eye out for that, wondering if the company I switched to (Red Energy) is gonna jack their prices to make them above my previous (momentum). Suprisingly they havent sent out a welcome pack yet, usually it's pretty quick to lock you in, so I'm wondering if they are in the midst of price jacking
