as a person who walks a lot and takes public transportation, im extremely critical when people dont signal on right turns when im walking across the street, and it happens like 80% of the time on a lane thats right turn or straight.
I know what the meme is supposed to represent, but the Tolkien nerd in me feels the need to correct the universal misunderstanding of the picture used.
Frodo isn't saying he can't read the inscription on the One Ring because it's in Elvish. He actually is pretty fluent in Elvish in the novel, but the inscription on the Ring was in the Black Speech, which he couldn't recognise.

From my experience on the road it actually happens with most brands and BMWs specifically.
People also seemed to have forgotten that you're supposed to use it to indicate what you are planning to do and not what you're doing.
I can see you're changing lanes. I just want to know you're planning on doing that so I can anticipate ( like break a little ) rather than being cut off and having to slam my brakes.
Or that I know you'll slow down because you want to take turn, rather than randomly breaking.
Fuck i hate drivers. And I wish I could just work from home more days. The only reason I'm not is because they want, not need, me at the office 3/5.
As BMW driver it amuses me that I use my signals more than most of the drivers around me, but then again I got it from insurance auction, so probably not your typical BMW owner.
People often queue behind me at the traffic lights thinking im going to be faster than the car in the other lane then get annoyed when I'm not faster because im avoiding engaging the petrol engine as it's a plug in hybrid 😂 (I mainly bought it for the better ride quality as opposed to the performance or fancy badge)
That's why my BMW had such strong blinkers. It got all the unused blinker fluid. The whole neighborhood turns alternatively yellow and dark. Those things are bright!
Picture from a Subaru. (I believe, it's very similar to what I use, the bmws I drove were from the 80s, and driven a decade ago, not sure how their sticks were shaped, but the fog lights were on the left dashboard panel iirc)
