You guys are getting ID'd? That stopped for me when I was 16/17 🥲
I’m 24 and I got carded a couple of weeks ago. Doesn’t happen often, but it was kind of nice
I'm 32 and it happened to me 6 months ago. That ego-boost is still lingering a bit.
I’m almost 40 and still get carded a lot..
Not at bars. They don’t care and haven’t since I was 18. But my chosen place to buy beer has a 100% carding policy regardless of age, so it doesn’t even feel nice. :( I just have my card ready before I get there so they are just like “ooh your totally on top of it!” That feels alright.
About a week ago I got carded for a video game rated M. First time that’s ever happened in my entire life, no joke.. I’m still salty about that.
I'm 31 and it happens sporadically, but in the past couple of weeks I had one guy double-take because he figured there was no way I was that old and one lady who gave me a good ol' "keep doin' what you're doin'."
The ego boost is necessary since my body insists on groaning every time I sit down.
I'm voting tomorrow. First time I will have been ID'd in years!

Same here! Aside for in the local elections a while back.
I thought i stopped getting id'd when i was 20 something. The. I realised that i just stopped drinking and smoking and there is no more reason to show an id. Now when i buy cook wine or something to drink for my girlfriend i still have to show id. I'm almost 40
I'm 42 and it's hit or miss whether I get carded. A delivery guy was delivering my dog's prescription and asked me if I was "at least 21"...I was like buddy I'm double that!
I still get carded now at 31
PA there's plenty of stores that require it to initiate the checkout process. No scan, no checkout.
Funily enough I got barely asked for ID before I hit 18. But had to show it constantly after.
