The dude who made VSCode Stories sold it for some cash.
A feature so useless that I use VS Code almost daily and had no idea this existed
It was/is an extension so you would've had to explicitly search for and install it to see it.
I mean, credit to Microsoft and VS Code for not putting bullshit like this right in your face

I agree - I'm much happier they pinned it to the Taskbar.
